No... your apps and plugins should get in your /home/ folder... If you have problems later (for example a wrong driver and cannot start your system again. You can disable your user-add ons / plugins at system boot/start by pressing the space bar. This way you are able to correct or repair your system. If you used the boot folder you cannot start/reboot your system this easy way. For apps I would suggest you to use boot/home/apps instead. If you update HAIKU you have to replace all folders except your /home/ folder. Some Programs have to go to the boot/home/config/bin folder. This are usually programs which you run in the terminal. Read the instructions / readme before installing a program. |

With the Superpack I put everything in the home folder, i.e drivers, apps for the reason he states. Easy for updating Haiku, and disabling drivers/user addons in case something goes wrong with the system. There was a good article on Haiku's website that explained what all the directories in Haiku were for and what goes where, but I can't find it. |

From Cdrecord's website: Cdrecord supports DVD -R and DVD -RW with all known DVD-writers on all UNIX-like OS and on Win32. It probably just works. BurnitNow includes the sources, so it could probably be updated to add support for video projects. |

You can also see on the screenshot I made for CDRecord, that it does indeed include DVD support: http://www.haikuware.com/view-...cord-haiku |
