It's hard to believe we've been doing this for a year already, but the time has come once again, to nominate your choice for the Aug-Sept. Thank You Award. For those who may not know, we provide a $50 prize every two months to a Haiku developer/contributor that wins our public poll (more info can be found in the 'Thank You Award' tab in our bounty section).
Humdinger provided his nominees once again (Thanks!). If you'd like to see someone in our poll, please leave a comment here and a short explanation of why they should be nominated. Voting will begin tomorrow and close August 1st.
So far, we have
- Stephan Aßmus, for his contributions to MediaPlayer and solving
InterfaceKit issues ("mouse message pile-up") in the last two months
and his exemplary mentorship for GSoC, helping and inspiring his
student while providing status reports to the rest of us. Also, the hard work on the disk management API, and drive setup.
-
Niels Reedijk, for his work keeping the bugtracker running, especially the recent Trac account transition.
-
Ryan Leavengood, for his nice article on the Layout System (to motivate him for the next parts :) ). These kinds of articles help providing quality software.
Previous winners of the award were:
Axel Doerfler
Ingo Weinhold
Begeistert Team
Bezilla Team
Michael Lotz
PLEASE VOTE!
