Haikuware is trying to retrieve what BeOS software it can in anticipation for Haiku's Alpha release. You can read all about it in this OpenBeOS Freelist Post.

Basically, we have a list of software (ABC txt format) that needs to be collected, and can't be found on the internet. If you have any of the software on a backup disc or on CD, please share it by:

1. Making it available on BeShare this week
2. Uploading it here using our online form with your Haikuware account.
3. Dropping it off via FTP. Anonymous login at ftp.haikuware.com in the incoming folder please.

The best thing you could do to help, is use method #2 and ask us to send you an email to your Gmail account as a collaborator on the GoogleDoc spreadsheet that we have used. That way you can cross off added software yourself. Please add the BeBits description to the software listing.
