Wesnoth on Haiku

I recently tried Wesnoth 1.2.1 on Haiku. Given most games available for Haiku/BeOS are looking really dated, it was nice to try out a full-featured game with beautiful audio! I think this would make an excellent demonstration of Haiku's capabliities - the Wesnoth folder weighs in at +100mb (uncompressed)! It didn't need recompiling, although it needed to be repackaged from it's propietary *.zpkg into a normal zip file. There are some problems though. Multiplayer over networking doesn't seem to work, nor does full screen. Still fun to play...

It can be downloaded over here.

I'm not sure, as it was ported to Zeta. I haven't tried running it on R5 to see if it has the same results; I, or someone else should try that. It's also strange how it can only be started from the terminal...

Best I can recommend for missing libraries is HaikuPorts:

http://ports.haiku-files.org/downloads

If what you need isn't there, try grabbing a copy of BeOS Max and get the libraries you need from there (in /boot/home/config/lib).

I'm not supporting anything, and I didn't know Wesnoth was a 'zeta-games', I thought it was free software released under the GPL. Is there a problem with hosting the software here?

I, like you, just repackaged the game so users could use it on their particular platform. Haiku or BeOS don't have a Zeta package installer,
