Seems the installer wasn't working correctly, please try the latest version if the last one wasn't working. Also, Haiku doesn't have 7zip on it by default Senryu does), so I've changed the compression to zip. - karl

Hi Scott.

I'll adjust the description and put a disclaimer. You're right, there were a few that didn't unzip into /boot/common, I can't remember all of them, just GIT I remember for some reason.

I haven't checked yet, but is /boot/common added to the path by default in Haiku? i.e will typing in a command from terminal execute the binaries in /boot/common/bin?

I see, I'll compress it with another format then. Thanks for the tips and work. - karl

I'm not the only one working on ports, so that description should just say ported by HaikuPorts. Note that these are mostly UNTESTED, so if you run into problems with any of them be sure to let us know and we'll look into it. There might be a few that weren't extracted to /boot/common, I haven't checked over the package you've put together here, hopefully you've caught the few that weren't zipped from to be put into /boot/common. If you spot any let us know and we will fix those up. I think there's 4 or 5 of them in there. Also it's probably not a good idea to post this as a .7z archive seeing as how p7zip is not yet included with Haiku and it does not yet pass all of the tests, p7zip 4.57 fails the dual processor tests. - scottmc
