ja2-stracciatella, is a port of Jagged Alliance 2 to SDL. Jagged Alliance 2 is a tactical role-playing game for PC, released in 1999.
Jagged Alliance 2 takes place in the fictional nation of Arulco, ruled until the late 1980s by a unique democratic monarchy – a monarch led the nation, but elections were held every ten years to assert their legitimacy.
Notes about this version* Updated to 0.12.1 with bugfixes
* You will need of an installation of Jagged Alliance 2 performed in Windows or files from the original Linux version. Please see the README.Haiku file for more information.
* Copy the Data folder to Haiku
* Into 'config.default' file
- Uncoment '#' the language of your choice
* Rename the folder "tilecache" to "TILECACHE" inside of data folder
* type at terminal: 'make SGPDATADIR=/where/my/game/is lowercase'
* Rename the "Data" to "data"
* Rename the folder "TILECACHE" to "tilecache" inside of data folder
* Go to your home folder
* Inside the .jah2 folder has a ja2.ini file
- set variable 'data_dir' to appoint where your data is. eg: /boot/apps/ja2- If you did all this, just click at ja2 game

If you trying to use on haiku gcc2 cease and desist

'I noticed on the page for "Jagged Alliance 2" that the data files were being linked to on the page. I don't *think* that these are under a free license and should be considered pirated software. The only place that I see data files available for download are through bittorrent and other anonymous file sharing services. This is usually a good sign that they are illegal when they are not hosted on a real site.'
If this is the case, the links should be removed.

and if you got any errors like this
it's because a folder name inside your data is not with lowercase!
I have checked the folders and all files are lowercase :-(
please remember that in 'Data' folder the first letter is uppercase
It's possible to install the mod 1.13?
