The other day I was playing around with Zebuntu Mini (Puppy linux). I was thinking, has anyone tried compiling haiku on this? Puppy has a very small footprint and has great auto-hardware detection. I think a barebones puppy using JWM would allow more processing power for compilation. And Puppy has an easy remaster tool for custom cds. Also its easy to change the looks of JWM, the theme properties are contained within ".jwmrc" and are in XML"

I've never tried Zebuntu Mini but I'm guessing since it's Linux all you would need to do is install the tools needed to build and as long as they are available then it should work fine.

I'm far from a Linux expert so maybe I'm wrong but it seems like it would work.
