Your upload got caught in the middle of the recent website migration. Is ColorBalls_v0.7.2726.zip the latest version? If not, please re-upload, and sorry for the inconvenience.

On the road to more sophisticated high scoring system and sound effects, I fixed some internal stuff and changed the messages appear at the end of each game.

Understood. Obviously I am coming from OSX and blown away with spotlight funcionality, but completely understood your reasoning. " the Find panel should be improved in the future to be more user friendly" Oh yes, that would be enough for the purpose. Thanks anyway for considering for a microsecond before denied. ;)

Hi pistooli. I'd like to keep QL as a very quick and simple app launcher. Searching for documents and files in general should be done via the Find panel (or by invoking saved queries (by Shortcut shortcut) and online searches are IMO best implemented in the browser. Online and local searches could, however, be combined in the Find panel. In general, the Find panel should be improved in the future to be more user friendly. But that's out of my code-stumbling scope... :) Thanks for giving QL a whi...

I fixed 2 more smooth scaling points in the yab source code and now BeDock looks fantastic. Will be available with next release. Here's another screenshot (see if you can tell the difference): http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4040/4424796222_765dc5486c_o.jpg Thanks, hey68you

Hi! As announced QuickLaunch now works slightly different; better suited to the usual way people work: The query now only finds apps starting with the search string. You can get the old behaviour by pre-pending a "*". This makes the 3-letter limit unnecessary, a query now starts with entering the first letter. The other improvements are listed in the changes above and in the accompanying ReadMe. Regards, Humdinger

The game starts OK but nothing happens when I type to start the ball. Anyone else have this problem? Would love to play this.

The next version will hopefully have a option for a Mac OSX look-alike background. With an option for a separator and indicators below the launchers if the app is running: Here's a screenshothttp://farm5.static.flickr.com/4042/4422747964_86e794434a_o.jpg It uses the background images, separator and indicator images from: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Leopard+for+KXDocker?content=64097 Thanks, hey68you

Support for replicant is certainly a goal, but not implemented yet:/ I have some problems with the way I display the timeline that must be fixed before I can do replicant;p Cool! I'm definitely gonna read more about GSOC and a Services Kit:D Haiku sure needs a native framework for http services;)

  • QuickLaunch(gcc2)
Hi there! At the moment, QuickLaunch does a query for "*string*", i.e. the search string can appear anywhere in an app's name. Darkwyrm informed me that he practically always starts with typing the actual file name. From using QL for some time now, I have to admit that I do the same... Originally, I implemented the "anywhere-in-an-app's-name" because I imagined someone not remembering the exact file name, like "something with "disk" in there...". I'm not so sure that this is the prevailing use c...
