Paladin (Testing branch)
Download
- Description:
-
Paladin is an open source successor to the BeIDE development environment. The interface is streamlined, it has some features sorely missing from BeIDE, like running a project in the Terminal, and has a bundled text editor based upon Pe.
This is the development version of Paladin. As such, it is not guaranteed to be anywhere near as bug-free as the stable version, but it also carries with it more features. This package will work for BeOS R5, Zeta, and GCC2 builds of Haiku.
New Features
- One-click project backups
- Makefile generation
- A Preferences window has finally been added along with a number of useful options
- A code library is now available to for creating code modules to aid in code reuse
- Shell script support - scripts are executed at the end of the build process
- Support for Rez files
- Drag and drop support for entire folder hierarchies
- Add resource files to your project just like any other file -- just enter a name
Lots of small user interface tweaks and internal improvements -- too many to list here. Check the WHAT'S NEW file in the package for a complete list!
