About SETI@Home:

SETI@Home is a scientific experiment that uses distributed computing in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running this free program.

SETI@Home downloads and analyzes radio telescope data which comes from the giant Arecibo radio telescope that is located in Puerto Rico. In scanning the depths of the universe they receive about 35 GB of data per day! Once you have downloaded and configured the client, join Team BeOS.
