About Becon:

A little program to convert some graphic and sound format using SOX.

(1) Download and unzip the file to a directoty /boot/apps/converter/
(2) Download and install Sox Get it at bebits .com
(3) The program does not check the file extension so only use files specified
example (a) to convert a ms windows ico to png
drag the icon file to the 'here' field select icotopng then select convert
example (b) to convert between sound format make sure sox is downloaded and installed on your machine then drag the sound file to 'here' field select format to convert to and press convert button .
(4) The first 4 options in the listbox are graphics files the next is for converting from microsoft write to html and the next 34 options in the list are for sound formats example aiff , wave , maud , vox etc.

(5) The converted sound files will be in the /boot/home dir with the name output.'extension selected from list'
(6) The converted graphics files should be in the boot/apps/convert directory.
(7) Because of laziness much validation is not done .
(8) Use at own risk although , i dont think you should have any.
