About Canon ps350dl:

Simple command-line download program for Canon PowerShot 350/600 Camera

Based on J.A.Bezemer's (costar@panic.et.tudelft.nl) code.

May work also with PowerShot 600, but tested with PS350 only.

developer-version. Loads pictures only (not thumbnails)
Need testers help for checking if it work with Canon PS 600 and at different speeds.

Please contact me (Look for e-mail in included README file) if you have those old cameras, i need your help in testing.

Installation:
Drop ps350dl binary in folder "Drop_ps350dl_here"

Usage:

Open Terminal in folder where you wish to download your images.
type here
ps350dl
and press .
starting_speed = from 0 (9600bps) to 4 (115200bps)
(E.g.
ps350dl 3 2 - and it starts attempting connect at speed 38400 and at serial2 port. If speed is too high, it drops one step down and tries again - down to 9600)

Unfortunatelly it don't work for me at any other speed than 9600 bps, so i need help from other PS 350/600 owners.

(You'll see debug info in screen,
It may be redirected into file by using command in form
ps350dl 3 2>mydebugfile
or, if you don't need this debug info at all:
ps350dl 3 2>/dev/null)

P.S. Command for automatic switch-off of camera after finished download isn't implemented yet, so you should do it manually.


Details about this version:

Developer version. You can choose port and connection speed.
But speed feature don't work for me and i need your help in testing.
